Mission: Mission 82 - The Aggressor
Location: Pegasus-Shared Quarters
Timeline: Before Questions - Enroute to SB400 from Remu III

Lee and Alex had finally gotten off duty together, they where both in the quarters they where sharing on the Pegasus.

He was at the replicator:"What do you want for dinner?

"Hmm? Oh, I don't care. You choose. I'm sure it'll be good." Alex was still feeling somewhat guilty.

As Lee punched in the order for the food he could sense the turmoil coming from Alex but didn't say anything yet.

Alex made some small talk, "I'll be glad when we get back home. I miss my son."

Lee brought over 2 plates of Prime Rib then went back and got 2 glasses of Vulcan wine and put them on the table.

"Thank you." It was short and sweet.

He sat down and looked at her:"Ok what's bothering you? And don't you dare tell me nothing cause I can sense the turmoil."

She wasn't sure how to start out, "In all of my Starfleet career, I have always done what I must do to keep everyone safe on the ship. I don't enjoy doing the things I have to do but sometimes I have no other choice. But with Westmoreland, I..." she sighed, "I enjoyed killing that SOB. When Bremer gave the order to fire, I didn't even hesitate. I actually hoped that his ship would explode. And when it did, I was ecstatic. I hate myself for enjoying watching him blow up."

Lee nodded as he looked at her:"I understand you do, Westmoreland and that whole group has given us all a run for our money. I mean look at Admiral Bremer and his family. Am sure he enjoyed killing himself."

"I think that Westmoreland is...I mean, was a monster and he deserved it but was it right for us to kill him?"

He took a sip of wine:"So what else is bothering you Imzadi?"

"Death was too good for him. We should have found a way to catch him and let him rot somewhere."

Lee nodded at her:"Yes wish we could have gotten him and put him in prison somewhere but it wasn't to be."

"No, guess not. No thanks to me and Bremer."

He sat there not touching his food:"Imzadi, I know your upset about me getting injured, so let's talk about that."

"I thought that we talked about it already. Like I said before, I was scared and at the same time, I was mad at you for volunteering to do something that was dangerous. But it wasn't fair of me to be mad like that. I'm sure that I have done just as many dangerous things as you have. The only difference now is that we are in a relationship together."

Alex paused for a moment before she continued, "Now that we are, I think that maybe we should stop taking unnecessary chances. If we are assigned to a particular task, then fine, we have no choice but to volunteer to do something that someone else could do just as well, maybe we should let them." She knew that she was asking a bit much but she had to try.


Lee sat there looking at her and thinking for a moment:"I understand your point of view on that and I know that you are mad at me for getting hurt, I just happen to move a little slower then I should have. Also what would you think if I asked you the same thing about not volunteering for something. What would you say to me?"

"I would say, okay, because I love you, I won't volunteer for anything dangerous. So?"

Lee chuckled a little:"Ok you got me there. I promise I won't volunteer for anything dangerous. And I love you too."

"See how easy that was?"

He smiled at her:"So shall we eat or is there anything else you would like to talk about?"

"I can't think of anything right now so let's eat and then afterwards, I just want to spend a quiet evening with you and forget about Westmoreland, Bremer, explosions and whatever else we have been through these past few days."

Lee smiled at her:"That's fine with me. One of my favorite things is having a quiet night with you."

"We don't get to spend much quiet time together too often. I wish we could do it more often." She took a bite of food.

As they ate supper he kept taking glances at her:"God you are so beautiful."

Alex smiled, "I know, what can I say." Putting her elbow on the table, she rested her chin on her hand and looked at Lee, still smiling, "You're not so bad yourself."

He chuckled:"Why thank you my dear. Had figured was my dashing good looks and my stunning charm what drew you to me."

Alex laughed, "You're welcome."

Lee finished eating and then stood up and grabbed his glass:"Would you like another glass of wine dear?"

"Sure, I'll take mine on the couch." She handed Lee her glass, moved to one side of the couch and waited for him to return.

Lee:"Ok dear sounds good." He went over and after putting the dishes into the recycler he brought back 2 glasses of Vulcan wine, handing one to Alex.

"Thank you." Alex took the glass from him and patted the seat next to her.

"Welcome Imzadi" He goes and sits down.

"Being here with you and spending some quality time with you is enough for me. It at least gives me some sense of normality." She snuggled up next to him.

"Yes it is nice just the two of us and not worrying about who is trying to blow us up." He put his arm around her and pulled her close.

She chuckled slightly at the 'blowing up' comment. "I don't want to "
even think about it anymore. I want to forget about everything this evening, focus on us and enjoy what time we have together."

Lee turns to her and smiles:"That works very well for me my dear." He leans over and kisses Alex on the lips.

After the kiss broke, she smiled brightly, something she hadn't done much of, "Now that is what I am talking about." This time, she led in with a passionate kiss. It had been too long since they spent time like this.

He smiled back at her and kissed her back passionately, Lee then wrapped his big strong arms around her and pulled her onto his lap.

Alex hadn't felt this content in a long time. Being together at that moment, made her forget about everything else. "I love you Mr. Pike. Let's stay like this forever."

on his lap and stroked her cheek."I love you too Ms. Harrison. And would have no problem staying like this forever."

Alex sighed a sigh of contentment. "Good."

Lee leans back on the couch relaxing "You are the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen in my life.

"Alex smiled, "Really? Keep telling me that. I'll never grow tired of it."

He chuckles "Yes really Imzadi. Am glad that you won't grow tired of it. Just like I hope you'll never grow tired of me.

"Never. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You make me feel special, like only I matter. Besides that, you are strong, handsome and a great kisser." She smiled, "But seriously, I have never felt this way before. I never knew that someone could ever love me like you do. You're a keeper."

"Am glad you feel that way my love cause you are one very special lady." He winks"And you kiss pretty good yourself."

"Thanks." She looked at him and smiled. "I think I need more practice."

"Welcome. Oh yea you think so huh?" He winks at her

"Yeah, I think so." She paused for a moment, "So are you going to keep winking at me or are you going to kiss me?"

Lee lets out a short laugh "I think I will kiss those hot lips of your's." Lee pull her down to him, giving her a long deep passionate kiss.

"Good" was all she got out before he kissed her again.

As they kiss he moves his hands around and runs them up and down her back.

Alex stopped, got up off the couch and held her out with a smile. She didn't say a word but waited for him to get up. Once up, she led him by the hand to their bedroom.
