Too much thinking

Mission: Mission 79 - Triangle
Location: Avenger, Starbase 400
Timeline: Following 'Status Report'

K'Wor stood at Tactical on the Bridge of the USS Avenger as the Intrepid class ship slid easily though Door Number Two of Starbase 400's Main Docking Bay. The young Acting-Ensign gazed at the main viewer. The Pegasus and Durga loomed large as the smaller vessel eased into her berth.

As the ship docked, Captain Greenwood looked up at his Bridge Officers, "Dismissed." He saw K'Wor just standing there, seemingly in a daze as Coleman, Gillo, and everyone else left the Bridge.

"Ensign?"

K'Wor blinked his eye, "Yes sir...just securing all tactical systems."

Ryan knew something was eating at K'Wor. "Ensign, I want you to make an appointment with the Counselor."

K'Wor looked at the Captain for a moment, then let out a sigh, "Aye sir."

An hour later, K'Wor was sitting alone at the Japanese restaurant on Starbase 400's promenade. He looked at his sushi, but hadn't eaten anything. The death of Adams was foremost in his mind. He replayed the events in his mind. Adams getting his, then his life saving advise, K'Wor looking down on the wounded man telling him he'd be in Sick-Bay soon only to realized he was dead.

He stood up and started walking. He walked around the Promenade, then aimlessly though several corridors. He made his way to Ops, to his father's office door, but then walked off before going in.

A few minutes later he arrived in his Quarters and laid back on his bed. He looked up at the ceiling for a while, then got up and walked over to the comm-panel above the replicator. He looked up the new Counselor and sent her a message, asking for an appointment...maybe he did need to talk to someone...
