Location: USS Avenger, Bridge
Timeline: Following T'Lar's post

ON:

K'Wor stood at Tactical and looked over the sensors. Everything was quiet, nothing on sensors. As he glanced at internal sensors, the comm panel beeped...

"Captain, we're receiving a message from Starbase 400." K'Wor paused as he tapped the panel and the messaged displayed. "Message from Vice Admiral T'Lar, reads, 'Captain Greenwood. Major Hurd has been abducted by the Pirates And I'm afraid that the Essex is out of commission. I need you to find and rescue him. The Steadfast is on her way to find Clark as well. Be careful. The Pirates are becoming more aggressive every minute. End message.'"

K'Wor looked over at his CO, "Coordinates are included in the message sir, they take us close to our patrol area, to a location within the Triangle, near Mendak, sir".

Ryan acknowledged the Ensign's report.

"Helm, change course to the coordinates received. Engage at warp 9."

"All stations, Red Alert!"

Ryan then tapped the armrest.

K’Wor tapped a few commands into the Tactical Station then stepped away as another Ensign took over for him while he attended the meeting.

He didn’t know Major Hurd well, but he hoped they would find him safe...
