Mission:
Mission 79 - Triangle
Location: Transporter room/Conference room 3
Timeline: Present
Captain Alex Harrison didn't have to be Betazoid to be able to tell that K'Temoc was very upset. Running the security department of SB400 for so long, she gained a suspicious nature. Being that there was still somebody or somebodies out there that might be in with Clark on the base, she wanted them to be in a more secure place. The transporter room she felt just wasn't a good place for an interrogation. She also wanted to give K'Temoc a chance to cool down. Of course, it only seemed to make him angrier.
When she found out that she was taking the Steadfast out, she performed a security check on the ship and crew. Yes, it was a bit overkill but that was just her way. A couple of crew members were a bit questionable. Knowing that they would be beaming him up, she concentrated on that deck. Conference Room three was a bit smaller than the other three. She figured they'd use that room to discuss private matters if need be.
There was a method to her madness. And she didn't feel like she had to justify herself why she wanted to do it this way either. They exited the Transporter room and took a short walk from the Transporter room to one of the Conference room.
"Sorry for moving us but I have my reasons." Sgt. Maal pulled Ensign Saith i-Ki Baratan's arm and sat her down. Alex knew that there were some speculation that Pike or she was working for Clark but she wasn't sure if that had spread around the base. She wanted to assure her that they weren't.
Alex looked at the Ensign, "I'm Captain Harrison. Obviously, you think that you've walked into some diabolical plan to join the Pirates but I can assure you that you haven't. We're on a special mission and you are not part of that plan. So my advice is for you to answer Captain K'Temoc's questions so we can get on with things."
Alex then turned to K'Temoc, "The floor is yours Captain." She sat down next to the Ensign and motioned to Sgt. Maal to guard the entrance.
