Captain K`Temoc slowly looked back up at the screen, "What's wrong with your vessel?"

The Pakled looked at the screen, then just randomly around, "It's broken."

Ensign Vortek looked back at K`Temoc, "Captain, I would advise that we tractor them back to the station. As past encounters show, the Pakleds will try to capture and ransom them for technology."

K`Temoc nodded, "I'm aware. It's the same M.O. they used when they were encounter by the Enterprise-D, Pegasus-A, and others. I'm not willing to give them the opportunity to take members of our crew hostage."

The Pakled on the screen had walked closer to the viewer, so only his face was visible as he looked at the Bridge of the Yorktown. "Your ship is small...can you help us?"

K`Temoc stood and took a step forward, "We're going to tow your ship back to Starbase 400 so we can transfer your crew off of your vessel while we repair it...fix it so it can go."

"You're smart." The Pakled said with a smile as he turned and walked away.

"We need you to disengage...turn off your engines completely." K`Temoc added.

The comm was quiet for a moment before the Pakled and another walked back over to the viewer. "We can't, it's broken."

Chief Branson tapped a few commands into the Conn/Ops panel, then turned back to K`Temoc. "Captain, they have no power routed to their warp or impulse engages at this time."

K`Temoc nodded, "Keep an eye on it Chief and move us into towing position. Ensign ready the tractor beam."

The Defiant class USS Yorktown-E moved forward slowly then turned back and passed the Pakled ship as a blue beam of energy reached out and locked onto the ship.

"Tractor beam is engaged and holding, we are secure for warp towing Captain." Ensign Vortek said.

"Course set for the station, we should be able to safely make warp five. ETA to the Station is three point two hours." Chief Branson added.

"Initiate." K`Temoc returned to his seat. "Pakled ship. We're taking you back to our home so we can help you go." He shook his head as he said it, "Just sit back and enjoy the ride."

"You're nice." The Pakled said with a smile as the comm channel was closed.

K`Temoc shook his head...
