Mission:
Mission 79 - Triangle
Location: USS Princeton
James' team continued to work with the modernization of the USS Princeton. It was an awesome experience. He has flown starships, shuttles, runabouts, fighters, just about any vessel that was in service to Starfleet, he has seen, toured, or flew.
But this is the first time he's ever toured a Constitution class starship.
James looked over the readouts of the Princeton and put his team to work on redesigning the bridge. It was grueling work, as he was overhauling practically every component needed.
"Not too shabby for a 70 year old boat," joked Lieutenant Peters who finished installing a new helms console.
"True, but look what they did to the Enterprise. Practically built the whole damn thing from scratch from its frames," James finished installing a new ops console. "Of course Admiral Kirk took over from Decker to go after V'Ger. Even as Chief of Starfleet Operations, he still could not get away from the chair."
"Yeah, but this isn't the 23rd century anymore. Heck Lt. Gilo and her team's doing a fine job with this bucket."
James smiled. "We should try to move the pace a bit more Peters. We're slightly behind schedule and we want to get this ship ready. After the bridge, we move on to the shuttle bay."
Peters smiled. "Your territory right sir?"
"You know it." He gave Peters a wink and resumed work.
