A hiss if plasma went off as with a few commands pushed onto a nearby panel Edg'rrr closed the flow. It's been hours but the ship was beginning to function better. He took a moment to think about what the captain said earlier. That a crew needed to rely on others. That in short the lone hero was rare not common. Although he knew of plenty of times in Starfleet's history that has occurred.

Venturing onto the next task with the damage control team he was with. He found himself paying more attention than ever as to what was needed. It was only a few times however he caught himself realizing he was more going off impulse. Drifting from assignment to assignment with little to no real thought. He was still upset with himself for failing to do one of the simplest things any officer could do. Never go against a superior's orders. "Unless some mutant space virus hijacks the ship." Muttered Edg'rrr to himself slightly. As the ship churned more to normality his team was given the order that the tasks were complete for now. Then a booming voice was heard over Edg'rrr's comm badge.

"Ensign Anisu I need you in main engineering now!". Said the voice as Edg'rrr's ears drooped. As he walked he thought what thing he might've done to get them even more angry with him. Before approaching the chief engineer. Edg'rrr straightened out his uniform and approached the very buff Salarian. Before he could say anything the brawny figure turned their head off slightly before snapping to face Edg'rrr entirely. "There you are. I got one question for you Anisu."

Edg'rrr felt every eye in engineering on both of them at this point. With a murmur he spoke a little. "S-sir? I-I mean.. Yes sir?!"

"You recognize this?". Said the chief pointing at one of the screens on the walls. Edg'rrr glanced at it. It was the weapon he tried protecting the ship from. "Uh-huh thought so. Anisu most of my team has been scratching more scalps than providing answers. So in his infinite wisdom our captain decided to put the only one on my ship who has some idea about what this thing is down in damage control." The chief must've known what words to use as most of the crew had some smiles on them. As he calmed down Edg'rrr took a closer look at the weapon. Whatever the scans put together clearly wasn't the whole thing but seeing a few choice words he felt relief he was actually right on what energy type the device used.

"What would you like for me to do?". Asked Edg'rrr if a bit eagerly to prove himself to the crew. The chief looked at the small feline-like character with one of his fish-like bulbous eyes before blinking.

"You three here. Now.". Said the chief pointing at a trio of ensigns nearby. As they walked up they each stood at attention. "Anisu here has some insight on what this annoying bug of a weapon can do. Captain plans on taking us back into the fight soon so we need to pull something good from whatever we can. Or else I'm gonna pull whoever I find afterwards and get them to scrub the conduits for five months!"

"Hehe got it sir.". Said Edg'rrr showing his fangs in a forced grin. As the chief walked away he looked at the three others he was assigned to. "Well to start I can only say the device gives out particularly charged isotopes usually founded in trilitium that's undergone something really ugly."
