ON:

Stepping off the Yellowstone Runabout, Dr. Jeksenri Vale, recently arrived from Starfleet Academy, took in his new home for the foreseeable future. Starbases were mammoth facilities, hubs for sectors and points of command for sector fleets. He picks up his scuffed and well loved leather duffel, and tugging down his tunic and sweater, heads for the security check in at the far end of the ring.

Since the Borg Attacks on Frontier Day, security had increased ten fold from what he was use too...of course he was use to rigorous security in the wake of the Dominion Wars. Now with both Borg and Changling threats, things always seemed a little tense to him.
