Mike was about to call it a day, again, when he was handed a PADD by Captain Andrews.

“Received this today, explains why the Laffey is still here.” Andrews said as he handed the Admiral the PADD.

“Winter’s resignation from Starfleet?” Mike asked as he looked at the PADD.

“It really doesn’t explain why, just that he’s resigned and no longer aboard. I checked the computer, he left about an hour before this was delivered. I’ve already changed all of his access codes aboard Starbase 400 and the Laffey.” Terran replied.

“You don’t think he’s gone off to join the Colonists, or Clark’s Pirate group do you sir?” Archer asked as he took over the Operations station.

Mike shook his head, “I don’t know. He had been rather…quiet since we left Earth.” Mike handed the PADD back to Andrews. “Contact Starfleet Command to make them aware, and send a message to all ships in the area to be aware.”

Terran nodded. “Also, Admiral, this is Lieutenant Liliy Barker. SB400’s new Chief Conn Officer, she’s just reported aboard.” Andrews glanced back at the new Officer and nodded as he walked away.

“Mike looked at Barker, and extended a hand, “Welcome aboard Starbase 400.”

Thanks Admiral" Lily said as she shook bremer's Hand " I understand you were once part of another fleet " she said.

Mike paused a moment, “Yes, I was. Years ago.” he looked at Barker’s orders, “Have you been shown to your quarters yet?”

"No sir I have not been shown to my quarters yet " lily said. she asked ' which fleet were you part of ?" she needed to get to know his CO.

"I've been a member of the Klingon Defense Force, Starfleet's Second Fleet, Ninth Fleet, my first command was in the Seventh Fleet, I was the CO of the Forth Fleet for seven years, and now I'm back in the Ninth Fleet." Mike replied.

Lily said"thanks for the info sir I 'd like to know where my quarters are" she said.

"Ensign Gates can show you. We'll have a Senior Staff meeting at 0930 hours tomorrow morning in Tactical Astrometerics. See you there." Mike replied as Ensign Gates walked up to show the new Lieutenant to his quarters.

Thanks admiral" Lily said as he shook the admiral's hand He followed the ensign to her quarters "see you at 0930 hours sir" he said.

Mike nodded as Barker entered the turbolift. Mike then looked around Ops. No one approached him, so he quickly headed for the other turbolift. Finally, he was off duty...
