Mission: Episode 114 - A Time and Place for Everything
Location: Starbase 400
Timeline: MD1 1415hrs

ON:

K'Temoc was in the main R&D Office on Section R1 Deck 1120 with Commander Stark and Commander Wayne.

"I found a chronometric instability in the anomaly." Wayne said to K'Temoc.

Stark nodded, "Then we found a similar echo in each ship's temporal signature. I've sent the data to Commander Coleman.

K'Temoc nodded, "Very good."

"It's our guess that, each ship will have to return through the anomaly in the same order they arrived." Wayne added.

About that time a group of four entered the office. Two of them were well known from Starfleet's past, one was clearly from the distant future, and the other was also from a future timeline.

"We thought we could be of some help." Burnham said.

Lieutenant Savok of the USS Pegasus NCC-1702 from 2295 gave a respectful nod. "Mister Spock and I have some experience with temporal phenomena."

Spock nodded. He was from the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A from 2287. "We believe, with the nature of this anomaly, that the events here will not disrupt the timeline."

Burnham nodded, "Spock's right. Our data shows we have to be sure to send each ship back to their proper timeline, at the instance they left. Doing so, we believe, will erase these events from ever taking place...at least to our perspective."

Stark nodded, "Let's run some tests."

A few hours, several computer simulations, and a few dead ends later and the group was not only able to prove most of their hypotheses but also allowed them to code a temporal chronometer.

"Well done everyone." K'Temoc said to the group present.

Burnham smiled, then patted Spoke on the shoulder, this which he raised an eyebrow.

"We will take this data to your Commander Coleman and the Science Team." Savok said.

"Very good. We'll run a few more simulations and if anything changes we'll let the Commander know." Stark added.

Burnham had pulled Spock to the side, "It's been wonderful working with you again."

"Indeed." Spock replied with just a twitch of his lips.

Once Spock, Burnham, and Savok left, Stark and Wayne walked off talking about a minor change to the simulation. It left K'Temoc and the other man who had only introduced himself as Commander Ballard of the USS Falcon from 2470 that had recently arrived.

"Can I spoke with you a moment please Sir?"

K'Temoc nodded, "Sure, what's on your mind."

"I wasn't entirely honest with you when I introduced myself. I am from the Gagarin class USS Falcon from 2470 and I'm the ship's XO, however my last name isn't Ballard, it's Bremer"

K'Temoc raised an eyebrow. "Why did you lie?"

"I didn't want to cause any temporal issues or violate the temporal prime directive...well, not anymore than we all already are." Commander Bremer replied.

K'Temoc nodded, he understood the noble act.

"My name is James...and you're my grandfather."

K'Temoc took pause, he wasn't sure what to say.

"I'm named for you actually." James smiled. "I just wanted to say thank you. The example you set and the stories you told me as a kid have been a big influence for me. You, your brother, K'Wor, Christopher, Luke, and my dad...well, I just wanted to be honest and tell you thank you."

K'Temoc smiled, but then started to think. Other than Luke, he didn't have any kids...and James here had just named Luke separately from his father. "Well, I guess it goes without saying, if you need anything..."

"I know, give you a buzz." James smiled again, "I better be getting back to the Falcon." James tapped his commbadge.

"I need to get to Ops myself. I'm glad to see how well you've done. I'm proud." K'Temoc replied. It was an odd thing to say to someone he didn't know, but he was family apparently.

"Oh, and you're about to get some news." James smiled again as he shimmered away.

K'Temoc was taken back, it was a lot to taken in...but before he could finish processing things his wife came into the office with a big smile.

"Hey, busy?" Danielle asked.

"Not at the moment, I was about to return to Ops. What's going on?" K'Temoc asked.

Danielle took a breath and smiled again, "I...I just got some news from Doctor Mclintock. Remember I told you I wasn't feeling great the last few mornings. Well, I went to see her when I had a break..."

"And?" K'Temoc asked.

Danielle let out a breath, "And...I'm pregnant."
