Mission: Episode 114 - A Time and Place for Everything
Location: Starbase 400
Timeline: MD1 1345hrs

ON:

Mike had been in Ops ever since Janice had returned to the Durga. He'd keep an eye on the situation with the temporal anomaly, but his mind was on his wife....his late wife. There was nothing he could do to save her, again.

Other ships had arrived, USS Luna from 2601, USS Pathfinder from 2403, USS South Carolina from 2370, USS Lexington from 2268, and USS Discovery from 3190.

As Mike turned around to check the holo-display in the middle of Ops, he was stopped when he heard "Dad" coming from the direction of the port side turbolift.

Mike looked back to see K'Wor...but it wasn't the K'Wor he knew...not yet anyone. K'Wor looked to be nearly 45 years of age. "K'Wor?"

K'Wor smiled and nodded before hugging his dad. It was as if he hadn't seen him in years.

"How, how are you? Captain of the USS Pegasus-C?" Mike asked, really unsure what to say.

"I'm well, and yes, you promoted me to Captain yourself when I took command of the old girl." K'Wor replied.

In K'Wor's time, Mike would be about 63 years old, so something major must of happened for him to NOT be in command of the USS Pegasus. Mike eyed his son, the man before him for a moment then realized there was someone else there. As Mike looked, it finally struck him who it was wearing Commander pips. "Christopher?"

"Hey Dad." Christopher said as he stepped forward to hug his father too.

"He's my Executive Officer." K'Wor added.

"Good, you don't have to sneak him aboard anymore." Mike replied.

K'Wor stood there for a moment, then realized what Mike had meant, "Ah, yes, the mission to the Dewa system. I promise I didn't know he was aboard the Yorktown when we left the station."

Mike smiled. "So, tell me about..."

"Well, I don't want to say too much in case the timeline is impacted..." K'Wor was quiet for a moment, then went on, "You're still in command of Starbase 400, the 4th Fleet, and the whole of Beta Quadrant Operations. The USS Lexington-E is your flagship now. Uncle K'Temoc still commands the Yorktown-F, and DS6. We're assigned to the Delta Quadrant Exploratory Initiative and the 12th Fleet. We're in our fourth year of a five-year mission."

Mike nodded. He was proud of his sons. Selfishly he was also happy to know he was still alive.

"We were in the middle of a temporal scan of an anomaly when we arrived here, so I made sure we relayed all data to Commander Coleman." Christopher added.

"Very good." Mike replied.

"We had a good teacher." K'Wor replied with a smile.

Christopher shuffled his feet for a moment, "We...we saw the Durga on sensors. Did...you talk to mom?"

Mike nodded. "I did. She loved you, loved you both."

Mike's sons both nodded. "We know you miss her." K'Wor added.

The three talked about 'old times' for a few minutes more before K'Wor and Christopher beamed back to their Pegasus-C. As much as Mike didn't want to see Janice return to her proper time and her fate, Mike wanted to get K'Wor and Christopher back to their time so they could do the good work they would in the future.
