Mission: Episode 114 - A Time and Place for Everything
Location: Operations
Timeline: MD1-1300 hours

ON:

Commander Coleman had just gotten back from having lunch with his mother and brother when he saw everything that was going on in Operations. He wanted to begin to figure out everything that was going on and how to fix it all up.

Coleman saw Vox working at one of the Engineering stations nearby and walked over to her as he asked, "I'm sorry to bother you. But, you wouldn't happen to know where my reports on the anomalies went, have you? I've been trying to use them to figure out how to close the anomalies."

"Hello Commander." Vox replied looking up from the console. "Are they not in the science storage directory in the ops main computer? Or did you have them on a series of padds?" She asked.

Coleman had a few PADDs in his hands, which he checked again to make sure that they weren't downloaded there by mistake and he said, "Nope, I don't have anything on my PADDs and they're not in the science computers. I was working in one of the labs and sent them up here to work on them after I had a bit of lunch. But, as soon as I got up here, they disappeared."

"Hmm I don't like the sound of this. Sounds like a connection problem. Can you tell me which lab you were in and I will see if I can get them from the lab system itself. If there is a connection fault, we may have to get them on to an isolinear data rod. Then I can try to find the connection fault."

"I think I was down in Science Lab 3, but I'm not 100% sure. But, lets try that one first," Coleman replied, taking the seat next to Vox to watch the work being done.

Dee tapped her combadge. =^= Vox to Science Lab 3. =^=

=^= Science Lab 3 here go ahead. =^=

=^= Was Commander Coleman there recently? If so can you check the terminal where he sat and see if you can get me the files he tried to send to ops and have someone bring them over on an isolinear data rod? =^=

=^=Yes he was here. I will get the files download and get someone to take them to you. Have we got a connection fault?=^=

=^= Thank you and sadly yes. Vox out.=^=

10 minutes later , a young officer arrived with a data rod which he handed to Vox and left. Dee turned to Coleman, holding up the rod. "Ta Dah."

Looking around to where Vox was, Coleman let out a sigh of relief as he took the data rod from her. "Thank you very much for that! That information was vitally important on figuring out how to potentially stop the rifts from opening up any more and letting more ships through."

"Oh I understand completely. From what I have been told, its getting rather crowed out there around the station. If I can be any further help in figuring this out, let me know, " Dee replied.

"Can you bend the space-time continuum to send everyone back to where they came from in 2.5 seconds flat?" Coleman joked, hoping that it would be conveyed in the right way through the Universal Translator.

"I'm good but not that good. As far as I know, only Q can do that. What we need here is the combined experience of the science teams on all of those ships. I am not sure what we will do if we can't figure this out." Dee replied.

"I'm just wondering if some of the ships from the future might have some information on temporal technologies that might help us get them back to where they belong. Might I ask a favour of you, while I work with the science teams?" Coleman asked, lightly waving the data rod as he thought and talked out loud.

"Sure, what did you have in mind?" Dee asked.

"Scan each of them for me and get a detailed layout of them, making sure to note anything that might have something like Chroniton particles emanating from them. Think you can do that and get me a report within the next day or two?" Coleman asked.

"Sure, I should be able to get that done for you. Are we looking for a particular density of Chroniton particles?" Dee asked.

"Just compile a list of all starships that are here now and list them from the ships with the most to the ships with the least or none at all," Coleman said.

"Got it. I will get right on it. " Dee replied.

Coleman smiled and replied, "Thank you. I'll check back in with you tomorrow to see how everything has gone."

"Yes sir. I am just starting to configure the station's sensors for the scan. Should be able to start it within the next hour. " Dee replied. She continued her work as Coleman left Ops.
