Mission: Episode 113 - No One Left Behind
Location: Classified
Timeline: MD2 - 1200hrs

Jack sat in his cell, once more looking around to see for the umpteenth time if he could find a way to de-activate the energy field that was holding him inside, however as he ran all the options, he once again figured that without the right tools and the right idea, he wasn't getting out of here anytime soon.

Having been here for at least four days now, or was it longer, he was starting to wonder what plans his Mirror Universe double had for him.

Since capturing him on Andrani III, after Jack took a Runabout there under top secret orders from some Starfleet Admiral called Tyran, Jack had been tortured and held prisoner in some sort of base or station whilst his Mirror universe self, who had taken to the name "Solly" to separate them. After being captured, he should have realised this was all a trap, however, Solly had been bloody clever about it all.

Uniform ripped and in tatters, Jack smiled as once more he reminded himself that when he got home, back to Deela and the kids, he needed to get a new uniform, although he had a few stowed aboard the Ark Royal, just for emergencies. Thinking of Deela and the children brought another smile to his face and it was thoughts like these that were keeping his hopes up.

When the Mirror Universe crew of SB400 had made their way through and caused havoc for the Admiral and the crew, Jack had thought that Solly had been captured and turned over to Starfleet Intelligence for questioning. As it turned out, Solly had stolen a Type 11 Shuttle and somehow made his way into the Badlands, from where he had begun assembling mercenaries and crew for his plan to get revenge on Bremer and his crew.

Jack looked up as Solly walked into the holding cell area and stood in front of his cell.

"Not looking too good there, Starfleet, how are you feeling today?" Solly asked.

"Take a look in the mirror, I'm pretty sure you'll get the idea," Jack answered, with sarcasm added in for good measure.

"Stil got some fight in you I see, that's good, you'll need that in the coming days... or at least I'll need that, by the time I'm done with Bremer and his band, there won't be any need for you to be around," Solly said.

"Yeah, about that, when I get out of here... and I will get out of here, I'm going to remind you that there is room for only one Jack Solomon in this Universe..." Jack replied, putting a smile together.

"By the time I'm done, you won't be around either. Especially by the time I'm done with your wife and the kids... Oh don't worry, I'm keeping a good eye on them all, I've made sure that they have some idea of seeing me.... or at least seeing you, on an outlying world. Soon, I'll go returning home, as a hero...ready to exact my revenge on your family and Bremer."

"YOU KEEP MY WIFE AND FAMILY OUT OF THIS!!!" Jack yelled and stood up in anger as Solly mentioned that harm could come to them. That was the last thing he wanted and was prepared to do anything to protect them.

"THEN YOU DO AS YOUR TOLD!!!" Solly replied. "She has a team of officers out there looking for you... did you know that? She hasn't given up on you yet. That's a strong woman right there, I'm looking forward to meeting her... being her husband..." he left the sentence to hang in the air.

"When I get out of here, I swear on my life, that I will end you. You go near my family, you go near my wife...I will end your existence in the most painful way possible," Jack said slowly, carefully and quietly.

Solly walked up to the energy barrier and deactivated it. Stepping right up to the separator, Solly stood before him. "They saw me on Tyrus VII, I made sure of that, after speaking with some of the locals. Starfleet officers are all the same, so stiff-arsed and duty-driven, they should learn to bend the rules once in a while, it's more fun..." He paused.

Jack stood up and ran at Solly taking his best charge at his captor, however, Solly pulled out a phaser from behind his back and fired at Jack, sending him flying back against the wall in his cell. Solly laughed out loud as he re-engaged the energy field.

"If that's your best effort, you better spend some more time thinking and devising a better plan, besides I have work to do... a Wife to meet and crush, children's hopes to destroy and revenge to take on Bremer," he said slowly before putting the phaser back in his holster and walking away. "Next time, it won't be set on stun..."

Jack managed to fight the effects but soon gave in and fell unconscious on the floor of his cell, wondering what would happen next to him and the others...

To be continued...
