Mission Intel and Assignments

Mission: Episode 113 - No One Left Behind
Location: Starbase 400, Bremer's Office
Timeline: MD1 - 1430hrs

ON:

Mike was in his office. He'd been looking over the data Commodore Oh sent him, as well as information Commander Draven had pulled from Starfleet Intel. Some of the information seemed to conflict, so Mike was going to lean on another source of information. The Tal Shiar.

A moment later, the door to Mike's office opened and in walked two Romulans. Major T'Lana and Commander Tamarith.

"Thank you both for coming, please take a seat." Mike said as he handed them both PADDs.

The two Romulans sat down as they looked over the information on the PADDs.

"So, the Romulans didn't release POWs, again." T'Lana commented as she read.

"Some of your information is, well, conflicting." Tamarith added.

Mike nodded. "What's on the left is what Commander Oh sent, one the right is what Commander Draven received from Starfleet Intel. I asked the two of you here to try and verify what's more accurate."

"Draven is correct, while the Tal Shiar built the facilities on and in orbit of Dewa II, the Zhat Vash took it over about a year before the war." T'Lana explained. They do have some ships, two task forces worth. There was a handful of d'Deridex and Valdore type warbirds, but near the end of the war they also added the some of the new Dia Vectau class, what you call the Type-C warbird." T'Lana said.

Tamarith nodded. "Correct, and the small shipyard in orbit of Dewa VI specializing in smaller craft...that was undergoing major upgrades after the last Klingon raid. Rumor is, the shipyard not only has ability to build Scorpion Class Attack Flyers and Snakehead Fighters, but it can also build Raptor Class cruisers. However, at last report, they four that are being built there are about two years from being finished."

Mike nodded. "What would we face on Dewa II?"

"Your intel is good on that. Class K, few surface enclosures with most of the base is below surface. The planet's atmosphere does have low level radiation that interferes with sensors and the bed rock aids in that. The facilities have accommodations for about two hundred. That doesn't include the Dewa VI facility or ship crews." Tamarith explained as T'Lana nodded.

"But not all the personnel are Zhat Vash, most are just Romulan military with the Zhat Vash in charge." T'Lana added.

Mike nodded as he though for a moment. The plan he was already forming in his head still seemed sound, but he wanted to bounce ideas off Draven, Tamarith, and T'Lar while en-route. "Feel like going home?"

Both Romulans looked at each other, then Mike.

"For this mission I'd like you to be the Pegasus's XO Commander. And Major I'd like you to work with Commander Draven on a plan of action while we're en-route."

The two Romulan women stood and gave a nod, accepting the jobs.

"Good, thank you. I'll send out ship assignments now and we'll depart tomorrow about 20:00 hours."

The Romulan woman gave another nod then left Bremer's office.

Mike leaned forward and started to type on his desktop display. After a new minutes he sent a message to the personnel that would be going on the mission. He also ordered them to meet him in Tactical Operations in thirty minutes for a mission briefing.
