Mission: Episode 112 - A Trip to Remember

As the fleet had set off to The Artifact, Vox decided to take the opportunity, with the lull in business, to take a trip home to Trill. He had been meaning to for sometime but just never managed to do it.

Before he could make pack or register any flight plans, he had some prep work to do on his beloved ship, Tenaran, Despite the ship being in the docking bay for sometime, Rae and the ship's AI were always in communication several times a day. The AI, also known as Tenaran, was highly sophisticated in that, as well as performing her own minor repairs and updates, she was also capable of ordering parts as and when necessary in order be always available should Vox need to make a trip.

Vox stepped through the large open doors into the hanger and in the corner, standing proud on her three large landing struts, was Tenaran. His close proximity got the AI's attention.

#Hello Rae# a voice spoke as it came from his wrist communicator as he steadily walked towards his ship.

#Good Morning Tenaran, We have a lot of prep work to do. I am planning a Trip back home. # He replied to his watch.

#It has been a long time since we were on Trill Rae. If I recall correctly, our last trip was my last full refit. # Tenaran replied.

Vox climbed up the steps to the side door in the ship, located aft of the bridge on Deck 2.

#That is correct. As there is a lull in business in the Gallery, I am taking the opportunity to visit my home and perhaps pick up some new pieces for the Gallery. #

# Perhaps this would be a good time to visit the Sentella Bazaar. According to my information, there is a large fair at this time of year. # Tenaran replied.

#Oh of course, that's right. Good thinking. #

He was now aboard and he began the long list of tasks he had to do before he could consider submitting a flight plan.
