Once the Buccaneer had cleared the vast docks within Starbase 400, she was out in open space and ready to go.

Grian had just finished a full briefing to her senior officers and all were now heading back out onto the bridge.

Grian took her seat with her XO with his usual "eager to get out there smile" on his face, sat to her right.

"Helm, now that we are out in open space, set a course for Starbase 74's outer marker and engage at full slipstream velocity, when ready.

"Aye sir, course laid in and ready."

"Step on it Ensign Rickzon " Grian replied.

"Yes Ma'am. " he replied with a chuckle.

The Buccaneer's nacelles folded upward and locked into position and in a surge of bright blue light from her engines, she lurched forward into open space, disappearing in a small white flash.
