Mission: Episode 110 - An Endeavor in Discovery
Location: Science Lab One
Timeline: MD2, 0900 Hours

On:

Coleman had just come onto duty and finished up a quick staff meeting with the various heads within the Station's Science Department. He had been working on several side projects in regards to the Tholian's Web that was starting to snare up within the quadrant.

Since he had been rushing around, it meant that he hadn't had the most time to truly work on his paperwork. There were several PADDs scattered across the desk in his office, so he decided to grab a few of them and head down to Science Lab One, which was just down the hall from his office.

When he entered the lab, he saw it abuzz with life, literally and metaphorically. The Biologists were working on a way to treat the water on Nimbus, which had been overrun by a parasitic lifeform from a diplomatic mission months prior. Stellar Cartography was working with Astrometrics on trying to find a new way to chart the center of the galaxy, as well as what was beyond our own galaxy, even though Coleman just shook his head in disbelief. He thought it wasn't possible to see what was going on beyond the outer edge of the galaxy, but his teams were adamant about their abilities.

Coleman sat down in a corner, trying to stay out of the way of the Chemists in the lab. They appeared to have been working on something rather interesting and...bubbly. He remembered several of his chemistry finals and knew better than to get in their way.

Coleman picked up the first PADD and realized that it was a requisition from Lieutenant Plumeri and his team for the Tholian Web. This was becoming an interesting mystery and he realized he hadn't spoken to the team in a few days.

So, it was time to pay them a visit...

OOC: Short post, but thought I'd post something to get back into the flow of things!
