Mission:
Mission 78 - Colonial Uprising
Location: Starbase 400, Ops
Timeline: Current, Stardate 65665.9
ON:
“Admiral’s Log, Stardate 65665.9. Life aboard the station has settled down into normalcy again. Vice Admiral T`Lar and the crew of the Essex are settling in well it seems. It’s nice to have a nearly full Senior Staff again. Right now though, I eagerly await word from the Yorktown and it’s mission to the neutral zone colonies.” Mike pressed the button on the PADD to end the log, just as the comm beeped.
“Ops to Admiral Bremer.” Lieutenant Archer called.
“Go ahead.”
“Sir we have an Andorian cargo vessel approaching, requesting permission to dock. They say they were attacked at the edge of The Triangle. They have moderate damage and wounded.” Archer replied.
“Understood, permission granted. Have the wounded beamed over to the station’s infirmary.” Mike replied and closed the comm before opening up a new channel.
“Bremer to Drs. King and Brisian. We have wounded beaming over from a damaged Andorian freighter.” As he stood from his desk, “Bremer to Damage Control Team five, we have an Andorian Freighter preparing to dock, it’s taken damage from a raid near The Triangle. Captain Weighterlight, accompany the damage control team.”
As Bremer walked out of his office and into Ops, he saw T`Lar standing over to the side talking to Archer getting an update of her own, “Bremer to Commander Winter, report to Ops.”
Mike walked over to his new XO as Archer turned back to his station, “I’ve alerted the Infermary and damage control. I’m going to have Winter take the USS Laffey out there to sweep the area, make sure no additional raider are in Federation space.”
“Admiral, I’ve been running sensor sweeps of that area, I’ve detected no vessels.” K`Wor reported from Tactical Two.
Mike nodded to his son, then looked back at T`Lar, “Welcome to Starbase 400,” he said with a smile.
