Location: USS Yorktown
Timeline: Current, Stardate 65572.8

ON:

'Ship's Log, Stardate 65572.8. The Yorktown is prepared to depart, again. With our new team members aboard, we're ready to see what the Special Operations Team can really do.'

Captain K'Temoc sat in the command chair of the Defiant class ship. Chief O'Riely was at the Conn/Ops position, Harrison was at Tactical One, Pike at Tactical Two, and Smith at the Bridge Engineering position.

"Clear all mourings, thrusters at station keeping." K`Temoc ordered.
He tapped the comm button on his left panel, "Yorktown to Starbase 400, ready to depart."

"Yorktown, this is Starbase 400 operations, you're cleared to depart." The female's voice was warm and friendly. "Space doors are opening, see you home again soon Yorktown."

K`Temoc flashed a smile, "Thank you Ops, Yorktown out."

"Chief. Bow thrusters at half til we're clear, then bring us about."
The small Defiant class ship slowly backed away from her docking port. Once clear of it and nearby ships, she spun around to face the space doors opening ahead...

"One quarter impulse Chief, take us out." K`Temoc added.
The USS Yorktown started forward, gracefully passing though the giant doors and into open space.

"Set course for the colonies in the Neutral Zone Chief, warp seven." The Captain ordered as he leaned back in the chair.

"And Chief, once we're at warp you can brief everyone on the situation with the Sydney class runabouts?"
