Changes to the Special Operations Team

Mission: Mission 78 - Colonial Uprising
Location: Starbase 400
Timeline: Current, Stardate 65554.2

ON:

"Ship's log, Stardate 65554.2. The Yorktown has returned to Starbase 400, without really beginning her mission. Key members of our team, Mr. Darr and Colonel Sosuki, have been reassigned by Starfleet Command. So before we can depart the station again, I'll need to find some one to replace them."

Chief O`Reily and Lieutenant Commander Smith had already reported back aboard the Defiant class vessel while Captain K`Temoc was `recruiting` for the Special Operations Team. The Admiral had already suggested Captain Harrison serve as the XO of the new team, now it was time for K`Temoc to extend the offer.

As he walked toward Alexandra's quarters, K`Temoc went over a list of officers in his head. He really didn't need a pilot to replace Colonel Souski per-say. Engineering and Security/Tactical were already covered and Chief O`Reily was a jack of all trades.

For this mission, he thought about asking Captain Pike to go along, the Intel Officer could be very beneficial, but Lee already had his hands full and really didn't have the time to be a full time member of the Special Operations Team. Same was true of Andrews, Winter, and Gillo, their jobs kept them pretty busy as it was.

K`Temoc also didn't know the members of the USS Essex crew at all, and thus was hesitant about asking one of them.

As he arrived at Harrison's quarters, K`Temoc pressed the button. When Harrison didn't come to the door after a minutes, the Captain pressed the computer terminal on the wall near to Harrsion's quarters.
"Computer, locate Captain Harrison."

"Captain Harrison is on the Promenade." The computer replied.
K`Temoc shook his head. When he'd left the Yorktown to talk to her, Alexandra was in her quarters. By the time he got there she was gone. 'That's a big starbase for ya' he thought to himself.

K`Temoc left a message for Harrison and Pike to both contact him when they were free, and headed back toward the Yorktown.
