ON:

Mike left Ops and headed for Tactical Astrometerics. He'd requested that General Fultian-Bremer, Captain Harrison, Captain Greenwood, Commander Winter, Colonel Pike, and Lieutenant Colonel Highsmith to join him. He wanted to keep his most Senior Officers in the loop...

Once everyone was there, Mike called the informal briefing to order.

"Good afternoon. I hope you all have enjoyed the time off, got some rest, but now we need to get back to business. As you know the Yorktown departed earlier today. Captain K`Temoc and crew are looking deeper into the mystery of the missing Sydney call vessels, as well as possible ties with Clark's pirates and/or with the Colonists that are about to be relocated." Mike paused to look at everyone present.

"In the meantime, I want patrols of The Triangle increased, let's try to limit Clark's group from taking advantage of the situation inside the Neutral Zone as much as possible. Captain Greenwood, Commander Winter, take your ships and patrol the border of The Triangle. Intercept any vessels attempting to enter Federation space." Bremer paused again...

"Colonel Pike, Colonel Highsmith, SB400 is still on alert to evacuate the Neutral Zone area of all Federation citizens should the Romulans push forward with their treats of `clearing` the zone area themselves. Mr. Highsmith already has contingency plans laid out for defense and voluntary as well as involuntary evacuation. I want the Marines to be ready in case we need to implement."

"Captain Harrison, I want you to work with Pike and Highsmith in case they request support from Security. Also, any non-Starfleet vessel requesting to dock will need to submit to Security inspections from here on out."

"This is a very serious situation. Right now Starbase 400 is surrounded by hostile forces and while we're not at war...I want us to be protected and ready. Pull whoever you need to assist, let's just get it done. Questions?"

Bremer looked at his Officers....
