Mission: Episode 101 - Peace During War
Location: USS Falcon - Various
Timeline: MD002 0500 hrs

Zeke had just rolled out of bed, making his way to the tiny room they called a bathroom in his co suite. For a single guy, this would have been okay. But she shared this space with Anna. He started to prepare the sonic vibe shower, as he heard Anna walk in. "Morning. We should be arriving shortly." He said, as he started to strip down. And hop in the shower.

“Sounds like we better hurry then,” Anna replied with a smile. She undressed and joined him. “I’ll wash your back and you wash mine.” She took the soap out of his hands. “It will get us both to our stations faster.”

"No we won't, and you know it." Zeke said, with a big grin on his face. As she started to crawl into the small confided space with him. She was more of a pleasant distraction, than actual help.

Anna smiled. “If you agreed I would have been worried.” She smiled at him at the small space they shared. “Nice and cozy isn’t it?”

"Bridge to Captain Bagwell." Dustin called out, over the intercom.

Zeke was trying to wash up Anna when he heard the call.

"In the shower Mister Reynolds." Zeke pointed out to him, as he verbally took the call.

"Sorry to bother you, but we have arrived." Dustin said.

Zeke was a little surprised. they were not due to arrive for another 30 mins.

Zeke looked to Anna and then called out. "Where not due for another 30 minutes." Zeke pointed out to him.

"Yes sir, it appears the evening graveyard helmsman miscalculated his warp calculations, Sam is going to talk to him. Orders Captain." Dustin called out, feeling a little guilty, for interrupting the Captain's shower.

"Start your scans, I'll be up shortly. Notify the First Officer." Zeke said, he was a little surprised that the helmsman made an error. But it was not the end of the world.

"Aye Captain." Dustin said.

"Bagwell out." Zeke said, as he looked to Anna.

“Next time,” Anna said, giving him a kiss. “You need to get up there.” She moved out of the shower.

Zeke pulled her back, as he gave her passionate kiss. After kissing passionately for a few moments, he started to say as he caught his breath. "Next time, can't come soon enough." He said. As they both walked out and started to get dressed.

"No idea what is going on, but I will find out shortly." He said, as Anna helped zip up his jacket. He leaned in for another kiss. Ever since they had decided they wanted to try to have a baby, they had been touchy feely towards one another again.

Anna kisses him back. “I’ll be in medical.” She said with a smile. “And I will make it up to you.”

"I'll hold you to that." Zeke said, with a big grin on his face. He started to make his way to the door.

The Bridge....

Zeke walked on to the bridge, and noticed that Sarah, his first officer had reported to the bridge first. "Impeccable timing number one." Zeke called out, as he made his way over to the command chair.

“I was on my way,” Sarah replied with a smile. “Scans are being done at present.”

Zeke was not expecting to find much. Maybe a few communications they could intercept. While under cloak. "Anything on sensors Lieutenant Reynolds?" Zeke asked, as he looked over to the tactical station.

"Nothing out of the ordinary sir." Dustin said, as he continued his tactical scans. He wished, they could use the main deflector. They were under cloak, and if they did. It would surely give away their position.

"Lieutenant Miller, welcome to the bridge, tell your engineers were running dark, minimal power." Zeke said, knowing it was not her fault they were arriving right now. They were suppose to have another hour.

“Yes Captain,” Aubrey replied. She called and informed her engineers of the situation. “All taken care of, Sir.” She had excellent people working for her.”

Zeke then opened a ship wide hail. "Attention crew of the Falcon, we are running dark until we complete our scans, Captain Bagwell out." Zeke said, as he watched the lights on the bridge, dim down.

"Commander, do a deck by deck survey. Make sure all departments are running dark." Zeke called out, as he looked over to Sarah. Running dark meant, the transporters and turbolifts would be down. The ship was not very big, but he felt bad non the less. That he ordered her to do deck by deck, by Jeffries tubes and ladders.

“Yes Sir,” Sarah replied. This was going to be fun. Nine decks for her to check out. She stood and headed to start out the long task. She really hated Jeffries tubes.

Zeke felt like an ass for making her go deck by deck, with no holodeck. But he needed to make sure. Even though the ship was nine decks, it was not a large ship. So it should go quickly. He then looked at Aubrey.

"Lieutenant Miller, have the engines been refigured for silent running?" Zeke asked. He was just covering all basis.

“Yes they have Captain,” Aubrey replied. “They cannot be heard it’s detected.” Something this important she had personally seen to.

"Very good. Lieutenant Reynolds, continue your scans. The sooner, we complete our mission. The sooner we can head home." Zeke suggested to him and to the rest of the bridge crew.

"Aye Captain." Dustin said, still not detecting anything on the sensors. Then he started to ask. "I hope the stations repairs, are complete, or at least on track." Dustin said, hating to leave the station in disarray. He looked over to Aubrey. She was helping them, when they got the orders to board the Falcon and start a patrol.

“They should be done by the time we return,” Aubrey replied. “Or pretty close to it. Everyone was working hard to get it done.” She he jumped in to help out, hardly taking a moment off, knowing how important getting the repairs done was.

"I hope your right. 400 was in bad shape, but repair teams were repairing critical areas." Dustin said in response. He was not sure, if they would be done in three days, like Aubrey thought.

"Its a good station, Dustin. Nothing to worry about. 400 will be back on her feet in no time." Samuel said, from the helmsman station. He was trying to reassure Dustin.

“We need to keep our spirits up,” Aubrey added. “Every engineer available is working to bring the station back. I may have been a little high in ya being back up but we need to boost each other’s morale and I believe they could have us close to where we need to be.”

"Nicely said Aubrey." Zeke said, skipping formalities and trying to show a more of a relax style. This was not comfortable for him, but he needed to open up to his crew more, and he knew that. "There a good group, the station will be back soon to full strength." He said, hoping that helped sooth over things.

“Thanks,” Aubrey smiled widely. She looked over at Dustin then. “I get your concern, that’s why this is so important.”

Dustin grinned at her response. "Completed my scans, no unusual activity in the area." He called out, with a big grin on his face. Maybe they would be able to head back to the station.

"Good to hear, continue scans, till the XO returns to the bridge." Zeke called out.

A couple hours later.

"Welcome back Number one." Zeke called out.

“Thank you,” Sarah replied. She was glad to be back after the long tedious job of checking the entire ship. “The entire ship is running silent.” Sarah confirmed.

"Appreciate it, Commander I know annoying that could be." Zeke softly said to Sarah, as he walked over to the tactical station.

"Are you done with your scans?" Zeke asked?

"Yes Captain, I have completed my scans, and it appears the typhon pact ships, are still retreating." Dustin called out.

"Very well, lets secure from silent running. Helm plot a course back to Starbase 400." Zeke called out.

"Aye Captain." Sam said, from the helmsman station.

"Number one would you and Sam care to join Anna and I, for dinner tonight?" Zeke asked, as he looked to Sarah.

“Yes Captain,” Sarah nodded. “What time you you like us to come? And can we bring anything?”

"1800 hours, and no, we got it all covered." Zeke said, with a big grin on his face.

"All systems have cleared from silent running." Dustin called out.

"Thank you Mister Reynolds." Zeke called out with a grin. The scene starts to fade.....

To be continued....
