Following his log entry, Mike received a message from Captain Harrison. She requested to have sogh M'Kota be removed as Deputy Chief Security/Tactical Officer and replaced with someone new. Mike recognized Ensign Darr's name on the short list of possible replacements, and gave his recommendation. Darr had proven himself in the short time he'd been a member of the crew.

M'Kota would keep her rank, but her position would only be Security Officer. It wouldn't a disciplinary move, just a needed change.

Mike sent the reply to Captain Harrison, then pulled up a message from Starfleet Command. The Task Group that was sent to pick up General Tarq and his ship, under the command of Admiral Akaar, had managed to do so with little trouble, and escorted him to DS12. There, Admiral Akaar and Klingon General K'Van...sent by Chancellor Martok, would question Tarq. Bremer was satisfied that at least this was taken care of.

Bremer then turned his attention to the latest reports ships on patrol of the borders and the issues at hand...
