OOC: Sorry it is short but people feel free to bug her.
Holly wasn't one to tuck tail and run but in this situation she could see how it would work for them. The ship had taken damage she was busy, the Captain was beyond busy and the entire crew was running on pure adrenalin at this point. She could sense the wear on them and it was affecting her mood too. She knew that this couldn't be good.
The order came from up top to stop at the Romulan neutral zone which was a good choice. Didn't need Romulans poking around. Not to mention didn't need their added aggression to her already overloaded mind. It was enough to make her grateful to see the gates of starbase soon. Here she thought she was a starship girl. Guess a warm bed and a not moving one at that out won her stubborn will.
-- Several Hours later back on base --
Orders came to stand down and that they were revealed of duty the first thing that she wanted to do was get sleep. Then after that shower and then after that she would figure on trying to figure out where her traveling companion of five years got shipped to. After all she wasn't special forces anymore and he had to go with that group. It did bum her out because that big fur ball was sure nice to work with not to mention come home to and warm up against.
Holly sighed to herself not really wanting to go to quarters but knew it would be the best. She wasn't a social butterfly nor would that change here and now. So she drug her tired self to her quarters making only as far as her couch before sitting down on it and going about taking a pit stop. She never knew who might stop by but if they did boy were they in for an un-Holly like treat.
