Location: Sickbay, SB 400 over coms
Timeline: MD 01 0830 hours

ON:

Hades finished with a patient and retired to his office to write up the results of the physical. Just as he was finished his com chirped. He opened the screen and smiled, “K’diwa.”

He watched as his Beloved smiled. “You left so early this morning I didn’t get a chance to see you.”

“I am sorry. I had things that needed to be done.”

She sighed, “I know.” She looked around. “I can’t…” Her message was interrupted by a chirp.

Hades looked over at the split screen he’d opened. He cursed.

“What’s wrong?”

“I have been requested in a briefing.”

She looked troubled. Did that mean he'd be leaving...were they all bound for another off station mission. Something in her gut told her yes.

Hades smiled, “Do not worry K’diwa. It will be fine. It’s probably nothing.”

She sighed, “I wish I could believe that...” She let out a stuttered breath. “Whatever it is….let me know.”

He smiled, “I will.”

“Hades….I love you.”

“Taluhk nash-veh k'dular,” he said meaning, I cherish you, a deeply personal phrase spoken only between bond mates.

She smiled, “I know what that means," she said excitedly.

He laughed, “I see you’ve started learning Vulcan. I will see you later ashaya My love,” he promised.

She blew a kiss through the monitor and signed off.

Still smiling Hades tidied up and headed to CiC as requested by the Admiral.
