Michael Aviel Nivar cleared the airlock and stepped onto the station. He could already feel the hum of life here. Walking quickly he picked up his large bag and headed down to get his quarters. He didn’t know how long he’d be here but he had a job to do and a lot of information to read, information that he shouldn’t actually have.
He sighed feeling tired. It didn’t take him long to get all his ducks in order and find his quarter located at Section H1 Levels 742 which was fine with him considering he was close to Splendora’s quarters. He looked around a moment at the fully furnished mini apartment. It would do. Tossing his bag by the sofa he decided to scope out the station.
He started with the promenade scoping out the shops. He found Mind, Body, and Soul and went in to be greeted by a warm Deltan woman. “Welcome to the Spa. How can I help you?”
He just picked up a pamphlet of services they had and made an appointment to see Splendora when she returned. He didn’t need it but he’d be civil. They had much to discuss. From there he found his way to a Vulcan Restaurant where he had some Plomeek soup and a few other goodies he missed from Vulcan.
It was a new feeling for him, being a tourist of sorts. He liked it.
He really should have cashed in some vacation time.
He passed by sickbay scoping out that place and then found himself with holo-suite time booked for the evening.
With time to spare he bought some new clothing and headed back to his quarters. He would shower, change, grab a nap and maybe hit the gym. Then he would go to the holo-suite and maybe run some battle simulations. He wondered how long it would be before Bremer and the rest of the group got back.
He’d decided early on that he would not reveal his presence for a day or two. He wanted to observe, see what the regular routine was.
The only issue for Michael was that he found he couldn’t nap so instead he picked up the PADDs he’d brought with him and started reading them. It didn’t take long for him to find something that he didn’t quite like.
What the hell was he to do?
Sighing he rubbed the bridge of his nose in an attempt to ward off a headache that he felt coming on. He wouldn’t go to the holo-suite tonight. In fact he had to talk to Bremer…question was could he trust the Admiral?
He’d have to do some research and he certainly knew where to go for that and who to call. He needed to hurry. He wanted to have all the information before he saw Bremer and before he faced Splendora.
