ON:

“Come in.”

The doors whooshed open letting Hades slip through. “You worked a full shift despite my request.”

He watched his beloved sigh, “Hades I’m fine. The fever has left me.”

Hades walked over taking his beloved by the shoulders. “You were sick on Cardassia then the when we bonded the blood fever. I know that the telepathic link that is still forming is not easy and the headache you must have had all day. You should have been resting.”

His beloved smiled at him and cupped his face. “I’m alright. I promise you.”

Hades sighed, “I…”

“Shhhh. Come sit down with me. It’s been a long day and I just want to curl up with your arms around me...just for a while.”

Hades smiled and followed his beloved. They sat down on the sofa and he wrapped his hands around his beloved. Hades felt…content. “We have to leave soon, I need to go back to my station soon.”

“Yes…soon. For now I need you here.”

Hades smiled and tightened his arms around his beloved. He was wondering if he could take things slow. The conversations he'd had with Sage and Monroe were floating in his head.
