Mission:
Mission 75 - Time of Change
Location: Tactical Astrometerics, USS Pegasus-B, enroute to SB400
Timeline: After the meeting
As everyone broke up into small groups Mike saw Harrison with her arms crossed heading for the door.
"Captain Harrison." Mike called after her. As she turned around, Mike walked over to her. "Alex I want to apologize to you for not telling you what was going on fully. Only a few people could be told because of the sensitive nature and I needed you to focus on protecting the ship and the crew's safety." Mike waited for her to reply.
She unfolded her arms and moved them to her hips, "I understand that there is some information that is on a need to know basis but I am sick and tired of being off that list. This isn't the first mission that I have not been privy to certain information. I don't mean any disrespect but if I am going to do my job right, then I need to know what the hell is going on."
Alex sighed after taking a breath, "Sorry. I'm a little frustrated right now with this last mission. I had a certain crew member secretly leave the ship. And then there was the arrest. I wasn't able to intervene because I wasn't sure if it was part of your plan or not. I don't see how I can do my job properly if I don't know what is going on." She paused for a moment, "If I am out of line, I apologize but I do my job based on the information I get. If I don't have that information, then I could screw up the mission. Then what?"
She talked as if she was talking to parents of a child, "I'm sorry sir, ma'am but your son/daughter died because I didn't have enough information to protect this ship and crew." Another pause, "I don't think that would sit too well, do you?"
Alex knew that she had said way too much but this had been bugging her for a while now and she needed to get it all off her chest.
