Mission: Episode 95 - Helping Old Friends

R'nard was going through the halls of DS9 and he was lonely. Not much was happening. He could find a place to meditate, but something was missing. He couldn't find inner peace. Most had gone away on their own pursuits, fun pursuits, romantic pursuits, leaving him all alone.

What to do?

His training at the monastery included techniques on love. But he hadn't found the right one yet. He was mostly ignored, even though he was the XO of the ship. Who would want somebody who looked like a Terran raccoon? Who would even be friends with him, even though he had saved them all countless times?

He went to the lounge and sat down, looking out at the stars. Why had he ever left the monastery? It was true that he was a master now, and could learn no more from the masters there. But he still missed them. He sighed. He would give anything to have even a one night stand, let alone a lasting relationship.

He placed his head down on the table and sighed. Tears were running down his masked face.
