Mission: Episode 95 - Helping Old Friends

Mike had been able to make it to his quarters, spend a little more time with his wife and youngest son, but the nap would have to wait. He was called to Ops because something was looming close to the station and would be by soon.

Mike walked into Ops and saw Pike, K'Temoc, and T'Lar standing in the middle of the room, around the holographic display. K'Temoc handed Mike a PADD. "It's a class four ion storm. The station had been monitoring it for the last twelve hours, but it's intensified. The projected path will bring it through the Kalab system and very close to Kalab IV and the station itself."

Mike looked at the PADD. "We'll need to have all civilian ships depart today and tonight. All Starfleet ships that are scheduled to depart in the next few days also need to depart by tomorrow morning. Power down docked ships, lock them down manually. Any patrol ships, advise them to remain clear of the storm's path. We should also maneuver the station to the far side of the planet and shut down all unnecessary power, go to low power operations."

Lee nodded "Aye sir, I will handle all the civilian ships departing and Star Fleet ships supposed to depart."

"And I will forsee the locking down of ships and moving the base. We should get started right now." Deela had experienced an ion storm once so she knew what damage they were capeable of.

Mike nodded. Tomorrow would be an adventure.
