Calthier was glad to be on the mission. Any chance to explore unknown regions appealed to Caitian curiosity. Having Deborah with was a bonus. He smiled thinking about her.

She was in command of a group of 7 squads, well rounded and battle worthy. Deborah was proud of the position and was ready as she could be. It was a moment of pride for her mate... She had a little secret to add to their life, THEY were growing inside her right now...

Janelle was in awe of her first slipstream jump. She was feeling eager to get to their destination. She had never been to the Delta Quadrant and as a Science officer, it was exciting to explore somewhere new.
