Mission: Episode 89 - Futility's Return
Location: USS Pegasus, Bridge
Timeline: MD2 0055hrs

ON:

Once back aboard the Pegasus. Mike gave a smile and nod to Harrison, then walked down the ramp and sat in the Captain’s Chair. He looked over at Pike.

“Make all departments ready for departure.”

Mike then uploaded the information he’d received from Sevlek regarding the Houston to the Pegasus’s database and sent a copy to T’Lar, K’Temoc, Jackson, and Roebuck. He didn’t disclose everything, but enough for everyone to not only prepare to fight multiple Borg vessels, but that they might also have to deploy the Marines planet side to destroy the new Borg facility and possibly recover sensitive Federation data and rescue any Starfleet personnel that might not have been assimilated yet.

After the message was sent, Mike then tapped the comm, “Pegasus to Starbase 400. Jewel, we’re about ready to depart. Keep the Station on yellow alert and deploy the rest of the Station’s support ships as planned. Coordinate as necessary with Fleet Admiral Sevlek.”

"Understood Admiral," Jewel replied as she looked around Ops as she sat in the middle chair. She was trying not to get to comfortable as she knew Mike would eventually return but couldn't help but crack a smile. "I keep sensor sweeps of the area in constant intervals." Jewel added.

"Thank you. I also you want you and your Diplomatic Staff to keep trying to get a reply out of the Romulans. I'm sure they are trying to fortify their borders, but we need to make sure they received the message. Also try to contact the Krazzle. They haven't responded to any messages from Starfleet since Ra' Graline left the Station a few months ago." He paused a moment, then added, "I'd take you and the Sutherland with us, but a new baby doesn't need to be separated from it's mother." Mike returned the smile. "No more speeches, Pegasus out."
