Mission: Episode 88 - Memories Lost, Trouble Found
Location: Starbase 400, Fleet Admiral Bremer's Office
Timeline: MD6 1325hrs

ON:

It had been a day since the Steadfast had returned to Starbase 400 with Solomon’s evidence in hand. Mike had reviewed everything and sent it all to the Sector JAG Officer for further review. Now, the ruling was back granting Solomon a ‘promotion’ back to his rank of Commander.

Mike had asked for Solomon, T’Lar, and Coleman to all come his Office. Once everyone arrived, Mike handed a PADD to Solomon to read. It was the ruling of the JAG Office, clearing his name. Mike then handed Commander pips to T’Lar to pin back on Solomon’s collar while Mike explained that he would be taking over as the new Assistant Chief Engineering Officer under Coleman. Solomon would also be granted command of the USS Constantinople, the Steamrunner class vessel assigned to Starbase 400. While the ‘Nople would still be assigned as a defense vessel within the Kalab system as needed, she would also be assigned as an Engineering Response vessel, much like the USS Ark Royal was under Coleman’s command.

It was a brief ceremony, but it did right a wrong that had been allowed to stand for far too long. Once everyone left, Mike updated Starfleet Command’s Officer Request Form showing that the open Assistant Chief Engineering Officer position was filled, but that Assistant Chief Operations Officer was now open on the Station. Mike then updated Command Codes for the ‘Nople, advised Fleet Admirals Tidwell and Sevlek, and then logged out.

Entering Ops, Mike heard Roebuck saying ‘Welcome home’. Looking up, Mike saw K’Wor and Becca stepping away from the turbolift. With a smile on his face, Mike walked over and have his oldest two children hugs.

“I thought you were staying on Earth for summer break.” He said.

Becca replied, “We were going to, did some extra credit hours, but we both finished and thought we’d come to the Station for a few weeks before the fall semester.”

Mike smiled again, “Glad you’re home.” With that, they entered the turbolift to descend down to the Bremers’ Quarters so Becca and K’Wor could see Janice and Christopher. It was a nice surprise to end a week filled with surprises...
