Mission: Mission 87 - Disaster
Location: Hurd's Quarters
Timeline: MD2-2100h (After A Report)

David had been walking around doing his physical therapy which he was getting better at. He is now walking with a cane pretty good, Jewel was happy that he is actually able to walk. David had finished his therapy and actually was released. So, he just got to do his stretches and exercises to keep the strength in his legs. Jewel would make sure of that, as she always told him that he needed to do things with there son when he gets older.

Jewel walked in, she was sore and tired. "Hello my love," David said walking over to her and kissing her, while placing his hand on her stomach. "Hey my little man." David said to there unborn son. Jewel returned the kiss, "He will be making an arrival here soon my love. I can feel it, so after this mission is over I am requesting maternity leave." Jewel said as she walked over to the couch and sat down.

David walked to the replicator and replicated Jewel a cup of nice hot tea. Walking back to the couch he sat down and handed her the cup. "Here my dear drink this, it should help." David stated as he rubbed her stomach as to tell there son to settle down.

She took the cup and took a sip, "It's just been a very long few days." Jewel stated looking over to her husband. "I am sore and tired, I think a nice hot bath and a nice back message would help if you are up to it my love?" Jewel asked David, she loved her husband he has always been there for her since she arrived on the station.

"I can do that my love, anything to make you comfortable." David stated as Jewel finished her tea. "I'll go get the water ready," David stated as he walked in the other room.

She sat there relaxing waiting for David to come back out. After awhile David came out, "All ready for you." David said, Jewel set the cup on the table and slowly got up and walked into the bedroom.

After about an hour, she walked out feeling a bit better. She sat back on the couch. "Thank you, I feel a little better. But now I am hungry," Jewel stated looking at him.

He made her something as well as himself and they sat there, talked about there day and ate. She missed spending time with her husband, just the last few days been really busy all she's done was come home and go to bed.

David didn't seemed to mind, he knew she as busy and was usually exhausted at the end of the day and being pregnant didn't help matters. They spent the next hour or so talking and cuddling on the couch.

She got up, "Well I think it's time for us to go to bed, I am tired and tomorrow is going to be a busy day." Jewel stated looking at him, "yes it is my love." David stated as he himself got up and they both walked back to the bedroom. They both laid down and cuddled next to each other, Jewel as he always did when they slept laid her head on his chest to hear his heart beat.

She as soon fast asleep, David just watched her sleep for a bit, running his hand through her hair. He kissed the top of her head, and closed his eyes and also feel asleep.
