Captain K`Temoc sat leaning back in the command chair. Sogh Varg was at Tactical 1 and Chief Wright was at the Conn/Ops. Even for the small Defiant class ship, she was operating with a smaller than usual crew. With eight of SB400's ships away from the station, and the other six on stand-by, not to mention needing staff for the station itself...well it meant some corners had to be cut.

The Yorktown was moving at warp, in formation with the Intrepid class USS Avenger, Prometheus class USS Venator, and the Galaxy Refit USS Pegasus leading the way. K`Temoc was ready to get to Earth and find out why Starfleet Command had kept his sister-in-law there so long after her rescue and recovery from rogue JAG agents working for the now imprisoned Admiral Jellico. He didn't believe there was anything dishonest going on this time, but the whole situation was odd nevertheless.

The port access to the Bridge opened and K`Temoc turned to see a young Human female enter. She had blonde hair and her uniform had a gold trim. She took a seat at the Engineering station and brought it to life.

Not recognizing her, K`Temoc stood up and walked over to her. "Good morning Lieutenant, I don't believe we've met."
