The three materialized inside the transport area outside Sisko's...

"Where's K'Wor?" Mark asked as he looked around.

"Must still be inside Janeway's Office." Andrews replied.

Mike had mixed emotions, he wanted to beam back and get his son out of
there, but he also knew that wasn't possible, and could jeopardize the
mission. "He can handle himself." Mike replied, still concerned.

The three walked toward Sisko's...

"You sent a message to Bill Ross?" Bremer asked Terran.

"I did, just in time."

The three entered the restaurant and noticed a surprising lack of
customers. A waiter came over and then lead them to a table in the middle
of the room...

"Can we have that table over in the corner please?" Mike asked.

The waiter nodded and they took their seats in the booth. They ordered
drinks and scanned the surroundings again.

Mark set his tricorder on the table, "I can't raise the shuttle at all,
and the secure datalink I set up has been broken."

"We need to get access to a computer network." Mike said, kind of stating
the obvious.




Janeway entered the office to find the Security Guard questioning K'Wor...

"Is there a problem?" She asked.

"Is this Ensign supposed to be here? He claims to be an Aide." The guard
asked.

"He is, Ensign Ballard is my new Aide." She replied.

"Admiral, we're going to have to detain him while we pull his Starfleet
Records and verify his orders." The guard said, as one of the others
walked up beside her.

"Gentlemen, aren't you taking this drill a little too far now?" The
Admiral asked.

"We have our orders."

"Who gave the orders?"

The two guards looked at each other, then back to Janeway. Before they
could reply a voice from the corridor replied..."I did."

Janeway turned around to see Admiral Edward Jellico, "Kathryn, we need to
talk, please, come with me."

Janeway paused, she could see K'Wor getting ready to make a move against
the guard near him since his attention was on Jellico, she held up her
hand and K'Wor backed off.

"Not until you tell me what's going on here."

"It's not secure here, and the Ensign doesn't need to hear the details,
but there seems to be a...faction that is planning to make a move against
Starfleet Command. Ensign...Ballard will be questioned and if he is clear
then he'll be released. You have my word"

Janeway looked back at K'Wor. She knew the young man wanted to fight, but,
now wasn't the time. She wondered if Mike's fears were true after all, and
that Jellico could in fact be the person supplying information to the
Romulans. Or, did Jellico stumble across Bremer, Andrews, and Mark's
access into Starfleet files and get suspicious. There wasn't enough
evidence either way...yet....

"All right Edward, we'll play it your way, for now." Janeway replied.

Jellico tapped his comm-badge, "Jellico to Excalibur, five to beam up." A
moment later, the two guards, Jellico, Janeway, and K'Wor faded away as
they were transported up to the Galaxy class ship...




"It's been over thirty minutes, something's happened." Mark commented.

Mike nodded, "That's what I'm thinking too."

Mike stood up, and the others also started to stand when a man in a
Starfleet Uniform entered the restaurant. He looked around, saw Bremer and
company, and talked toward them.

"Bill?"

Ross nodded, "I got your message Terran, and I might have some information
that can help." The men took a seat back at the table. "Jellico just had
Janeway and an Ensign arrested, but I'm not sure where he's taken them.
I'm betting you're not here without some sort of plan. I know a place you
can get started working without the risk of being caught."

"Thanks Bill, let's go." Mike replied as he quickly stood up and started
for the door.

"Andrews paused beside Ross, "That Ensign is Mike's son, K'Wor."

Ross nodded as the four men left Sisko's.

TAG Smith, Weatherlight, Andrews, Mark, and everyone on the Pegasus!
