Vice Admiral T'Lar's Personal Log...

The Essex B, Intrepid Class is smaller than what I'm used to. It's about half the size of the Essex-A and has 9 less decks than the Sovereign Class. But then again, it doesn't matter since she isn't my ship anymore.

As for the investigation, it has yet to be completed. The official record currently is human error but that could change as the investigation continues. There are some facts that don't make sense.

There were four engineers working in the area but only three were assigned to the task. No one knows who he is. They all thought that Starfleet had added one more person at the last minute. Two ships had left right before the explosion but they both have accounted for their crewmembers. Starbase 232 has done a search but everyone checks out. I am sure that I have made many enemies in my time in Starfleet. It could be anyone. It's a real mystery. Only time will reveal the truth.

Currently, we have left Starbase 232 and are en-route to Starbase 400. We were going to Earth, specifically, Starfleet Headquarters but for reasons unknown to me, we're being rerouted. Of course, I'm not complaining. Any chance that I get to see Captain Harrison and her son, I'm happy.

End Personal log
