Romulan Way

I have arrived at Starfleet's Starbase 400 and have met with some of the senior officers. My opinion thus far of the Federation is that they are not the monsters portrayed by my government's propaganda. They do have an impressive force, even I will say their starships may come close to equaling our warbirds in design and function. However their idealism is a weakness; perhaps attempting to accommodate hundreds of species into a cohesive unit has soften them.

They do tend to dwell on emotions, on others' reactions. The Admiral stated that some of his Federation officers will be unreceptive of my presence and his security commander even suggested that I contact her if I have difficulties. This is definitely not the Romulan way. I will find it difficult to assimilate to their unusual culture.
