LT JG Wooldridge Personal, SD 75136.6

well, what a couple of weeks i've had. i have'nt been able to save any logs due to what's been happening so now that i can, i will.

under the most severest secrecy, i went on a two week deployment on Yorktown. we managed to get here going and under Captain Ke'moc and head or OPS Captain Bremer, we took her out for a shakedown. hard work it was and all. we tested Warp drive, impulse power, weaponary, shuttle control, manouvere patterns and shield controls. apart from a few little furballs in the system which we knocked out, she's good to go for her recommissioning later on this month.

i was a number 3 on the engineering deck as well. i was head of Gamma Watch, monitoring LCARS and transport activity. i had 26 guys under my watch, the first time i've ever taken responsability like that before. it was scary to say the least. our engineering team leader was LT-CDR Sek from my watch on 400 and her number one was LT Bridger from Alpha Watch. i even somehow managed to get Watson and Travers on Yorkie with me. good lads both of them.

i've only been back on the base for two hours and i feel really bored already. i wouldnt even think of saying that on front of any superiors, they'll have me going till the middle of next year with the stuff they want done. Dye had a good time with the recruits on Prince he said. thats good, the more capable engineers we got, the less work we have to do.

well, after OPS all returning personnel have 4 days off to recouperate and readjust to dfferent shift patterns. so i better go and readjust then. i'll just change into my civvies and head for the skyline.well i'm on RnR. if i i can dress like a slob and get away with it, i will!
