Deela walked in only to find three bags sitting by the door. None of the kids ran up of her. Instead, her husband Vincent came walking out of the bedroom, "Hi. I'm glad you're home."

"What is this? Are you going somewhere?" Deela asked.

"Yes, I am. Remember that writing opportunity that we discussed a while back? Well, he finally came in contact with me and wants me to go to Earth." Vincent watched her reaction.

Deela nodded, "I do remember but I just got home."

Vincent moved closer to her and put his hands on her shoulder, "I know you did but if I don't go now, I'll never get that chance again. This is a one time deal and you know how important this is to me."

"I do. I knew this day would come but I didn't think that it would have been this soon. But I know that you have been waiting for this opportunity so go. Don't worry about it. We will be okay."

Vincent hugged her, "I love you my imzadi." He kissed her, "I'm going to miss you and the kids."

"I love you too." They kissed a more passionate kiss this time. The chime rang, "I guess we should answer that."

The door opened and an Ensign walked in, "Your shuttle is ready for you. Your bags sir?" Vincent looked at his luggage, "Yes."

Vincent gave her a kiss and a hug one more time. Deela watched his luggage being removed, "Where are the kids by the way?"

"Oh, sorry. They are at Alex's quarters. I've already gave them a kiss goodbye. I really need to go. I promise that I will talk to you as much as I can."

"I know you will. Be safe." Vincent didn't want to let her go but he had no choice. It was time. They mouthed the words I love you one more time, then he left.

The door shut and Deela found herself standing in an empty room, "Welcome home Deela."
