Deela walked in after being asked who she was. She explained she was new. The guy at the door eyed her, looking at her up and down while smiling, "Interesting. I don't think we've ever had a half breed, especially someone as pretty as you."

She wanted to punch him in the face but just smiled with a soft thank you. He let her in. She went looking for the person she was supposed to meet. "Hey, do you know where Bethany is?"

A young lady in her early 20's stared at her for a moment. She didn't get any weird vibes about Deela so she gave the info, "She's in the back, first door on your right."

Deela smiled, "Thank you." She went off in the direction she was pointed to. Deela stood at the door for a moment before walking in, hoping that she was alone. She was.

Bethany turned to see who just walked in, "I am going to take a wild guess that you are, Delilah?"

"I am." They sat down.

Deela started out, "I appreciate that you want to help us."

"I need to get away from here. I can't be a part of all this. I want out!" She was adamant.

"I believe you. I want to stop this guy. He's threatened my family and I want him stopped."

"Good. Then we need a plan." They both just stared at each other, trying to think of one.

Bethany took a breath before she spoke. "How much did Jim tell you."

"Not much but by the looks of things, it's obvious."

Bethany chuckled, "You really think that this is a..." She couldn't say the word, "Us girls are just decoys. All we know is that those who walk into that door are never seen again. Jack takes everything of theirs and profits from it. You would think that he's a dang Ferrengi."

"Ferrengi in my universe don't murder. They are greedy but that's about it." Deela felt bad that she had the wrong idea.

"Look. I am pretty sure that he either murders them or he traps them and tortures them. He thrives on it. It makes him feel like a real man. He needs to be stopped." Bethany shivered a little, "I've heard stories about him."

"I can imagine from what I know about him." Deela was more determined to stop the Jack of this universe.

There was knock on the door, "Bethany?"

Bethany got up and answered the door. The man who met Deela at the door was standing there. He stepped in, "Jack has got another one. You know what to do." Then he left.

"So, how does this work?" She asked.

"I stand out there in front of this door and wait, looking all pretty. Once he approaches, I open the door, he follows me in and then I walk out and push this button. It locks the door behind me and I leave. Jack's men takes over and I walk away. That's it. Easy peasy." She added, "I'm glad I don't know what happens to them. I feel bad enough."

"So, why do the girls stay?" Deela asked.

"They get food and housing. That's all they want. To be taken care of and pampered." She sighed, "At first, that's what I thought I wanted but now, I want someone in my life that I can love and have a family with."

"I need to know exactly what happens to them." Deela was curious how they pulled this off.

"There is a nice hiding place in the back of this room." Bethany smiled.

"Okay. Go do your thing." Deela found the hiding place and hid. Bethany waited for this man to arrive. Just like Bethany said, he walked in and she left. Deela looked out to see this man looking confused. The next thing she knew, he disappeared. Someone had beamed him out. Deela cursed under breath. Bethany walked in about 10 minutes later, trying to think about the next step.

"So, what happened. Where did he go?"

Deela spoke in a disappointed tone, "He was beamed away somewhere. I have no way of knowing where they beamed him to. Going to have to figure something else out."

Bethany was surprised, "Maybe Jim might have an idea." The door opened, "Speaking of the devil."

Jim walked in, "Hello girls."

Deela was glad to see him, "Well, I found out what exactly happens here. The victims are beamed away to who knows where."

Jim smiled, "Then it's a good thing I know where Jack is. So, let's go. I do have a plan."

Bethany started to follow them. Jim turned around, "And where do you think your going?"

"With the both of you? I'm packed and ready to go." Bethany had this planned in advance if she ever got away.

"Nope, nope. I have made arrangements for you." He explained to her the plan.

Bethany let out a breath of relief, "Thank you." She stood up, "Well, then I'm going to take off. Good luck in finding that evil man."

"Good luck to you too." Deela watched her leave. She looked at Jim, "So, where are we going?

"First thing." He handed her the clothes he had in his hand, "Change."

"Aw, do I have to?" She laughed as she disappeared out of the room and changed her clothes. Then walked out. Once outside the facility, Jim explained to her what he found out.

Deela nodded, "And so this guy I saw get beamed out was planned?"

"He volunteered. We really need to hurry. We have a tracker on him but who knows what happens once they have him." Five minutes later, they were greeted by four other men. They were very angry and worried at the same time about their friend. Jim shook the hand of one of them. Deela watched them interact.

"We really don't have the time for this. What's the plan?" She asked.

"We're going to find our friend who will hopefully lead us to where Jack is. We're going to get the information we need but if we have to beat the information out of them, we will. As for you, I don't want you to do anything yet. This is our universe and our problem. Anything you do might jeopardize your job. I love you too much to let that happen."

One of the guys called out, "Jim, he's close. He only a few minutes from here."

Jim nodded, "Good. Let's go." They all followed. They came to a small building with two guards standing guard. Jim whispered to Deela. Wait here. As soon as we take care of the guards and get inside, we're going to get that info we need. I promise you."

"I can take care of myself you know. And I don't care about Starfleet. I want my family safe and I'll do what I have to do to make it happen." She wasn't happy about staying behind.

Let me and my men at east see what the situation is and then I'll come and get you. But for now, I need you to stay here, hidden."

Deela gave up, "Fine." She sighed, "Hurry and go get your man."

The guards were taken down and Jim and his men went in. They took most of them by surprise. They made their way through. Following the signal, they found their friend. They were already getting him ready to present him to Jack. The one guarding their friend was captured. They checked the rest of the building but it was empty. Jim went out and got Deela.

Deela joined the rest of them. They tried to get the information but he wasn't giving in. Jim knew that she was able to mind meld so Jim asked her to do so. After some time, she finished, "Jack is on his way here. He might have others with him."

"Figured he would. So, we're going to replace the guards and this one with my men. When he gets here, we're going to capture Jack. Then, you can confront him and let him know who took him down. There are a group of people who are waiting for us to give the word that we have him. We'll do the exchange and you can be on your way back to your own universe."

"Do you think it will be that easy? You know nothing rarely goes right." Deela was worried about Jim being so confident.

Jim could see she was worried about him, "I know but I have a good feeling about this."

"Going on a feeling? You?" Deela looked at him and shook his head.

Everyone took their places and waited for Jack to arrive. He had three bodyguards around him. As he approached the guards, he looked at them, "Where is Carlos?"

"Carlos asked to be with the prisoner. Jarvis wasn't happy about that so he walked out. Carlos asked me to stand guard and so here I am. He's waiting for you inside sir."

Jack stood there, figuring out if he trusted him or not. He decided that if Carlos hired him, he trusted his judgement. Jim, Deela and one of the men hid. The other one pretended to stand guard. The prisoner was also given a disruptor in case something went awry. Jack's men were stashed away in one of the cell rooms and locked in. As soon as Jack entered the room, he didn't see Carlos, "What the...?"

Jack and his guards were rushed by all of them. They took them by surprise, even Jack. Deela walked out once Jack was secured and his bodyguards were tossed in with the others. Jack's eyes widened, "You? You did this?"

Deela glared at him, "Do you know who I am?"

Jack chuckled, "Of course I do. So how is my doppelganger doing?"

"He's fine now that he's out of your clutches. I'm here to make sure you go down for your crimes." Deela wanted to strangle him.

Jack had a smirk on his face, "You may think you have won but I won't go down that easy."

"Funny. You really think you are going to get away? These men are tired of you thinking that you can do anything you want to people and take what you want. It ends today."

"We'll see." Jack was sure that his men would rescue him. He was used to fast talking himself out of a situation.

Jim exploded, "Enough of this! We have you and you will pay!" Jim addressed his men, "We'll come back for the others as soon as we get ole Jack out of here." He turned to Zane who was still sitting in the chair, "Secure him." Zane stood up. He walked over to Jack and put the restraints he had on him and put them on Jack. All of them exited the building and went on foot until they could get in range of Jim's ship.

Deela felt that this went down so easy. Maybe too easy. They beamed up to Jim's ship and they threw him in the brig. She followed Jim to the bridge, "What are you going to do with him?"

"We are meeting another ship and they are going to take custody of him. Once they have him, the ball is in their court. They have a list of all of the people that went missing after visiting Jack's place. The families want justice. What kind of justice is that? I don't know. I don't want to know. Just know he won't be terrorizing and torturing people anymore. And your family will be safe. That is the most important thing right now." He cared for her even though she was still married to Jack.

Deela didn't want to know either. It was better that way, "Sounds like a plan. What about the men we left locked up in the facility down there?"

"I'll send some people to get let them out. But not until we get Jack secured on the other ship."

They both sat on the bridge, waiting for the meet up. Soon, a ship contacted them, letting them know they were ready for Jack. Deela wanted to go onto the other ship and oversee Jack's captivity. They went to the transporter room and Jack was brought in by security and joined them on the transporter pad. They beamed over to the other ship.
