Checking the runabout

ON:

K`Temoc was on the Bridge of the Yorktown. He was leaning over Tactical Two looking at sensor readings…”Go ahead.”

"The pilot of the runabout is dead sir."

“Understood. Do you know what killed him?” K`Temoc replied.

Lee looked at the pilot "It looks like the controls to the runabout somehow malfunctioned and they fried him."

The Captain walked over to the center chair and took his seat. “Beam the body back over here. We’ll put it in stasis in the medical bay and have an autopsy and identification done when we get back to Starbase 400. What’s the status of the runabout and it’s `special cargo`?"

Lee tried to work the controls of the runabout:"It looks like the runabout is dead in the water, won't know how long would take to fix. So we're checking it out but it looks like the special cargo isn't around sir."

K`Temoc frowned, "Understood. try to find out where the runabout was before it ended up here, then lock it down and beam back over."


Lee nodded as he tapped a few buttons here and there. He found out where it was and then locked the runabout down."I have found out where the runabout was heading, we are beaming back over. I will inform you when we get back over there."

“Understood Captain.” K’Temoc leaned back in his chair and looked over at the Ensign at Tactical Two. “Send a message to Starbase 400. Advise them of the location of this Runabout and request they send a ship to retrieve it. Also let them know we are continuing with our search.”

The Ensign nodded as he sent the message.
