Location: Starbase 400
Timeline: MD3 1200 hrs (Prior to meeting with Bremer)

Chiara stood on the promenade of Starbase 400, all around her people were celebrating the victory of getting their home back. The station itself was going to need repairs and sweeping for any booby traps the enemy might have left but right now her thoughts were with Croesus.

Battered and broken as the Essex had been through hell, Croesus emerged and seeing Kah'lyn smiled.

" Well hello there. Fancy meeting you here." Croesus smiled.

“It’s so good to see you!” Kah’lyn stepped towards him and gave Croesus a hug, she didn’t care that they were stood amongst other crew-members. She let go again and looked up at him. “There was a time there when I thought I’d never see you again.”

Croesus exhaled returned her hug and kissed her smack on the mouth.

" I thought we wouldn't make this one. The Essex fought a good fight. How about you? Where were you posted?" Croesus replued.

“I was onboard the Pegasus, we had to abandon ship.” She shook her head. “She was a good ship and she put up a good fight but the damage was too severe.”

" Let us go and tell war stories over a bottle of blood wine." Croesus grunted.

Kah’lyn nodded and smiled. “I think I’d like that! What about getting this place sorted out? The station needs an overhaul to get rid of the stench of those ... parasites!” She grinned. “I just hope both our quarters are still in one piece.”

Croesus smiled, " Yes there is much work to do here. Security is scanning for traps. The ops station was wrecked. I owe you a rain check but we will have that drink . I am actually needed on the Essex. Will you take over ops clean up for me? We need all ships operating just in case they return or we have a surprise engagement." Croesus replied.

"Of course" Kah'lyn nodded. "I'll have Ops up and running in no time, I'll do you proud. I've heard that the Enterprise is amongst the ships currently orbiting the station, I'd give anything to get aboard her!"

" Oh really? We'll we will see what we can do to make that happen then," Croesus smiled.

“Are you serious!?” Kah’lyn grinned. “The Enterprise has her own crew why would they need us onboard?”

" Chief Ops of a station has its privileges."

“Well I guess I can hope” She smiled warmly. “Anyway I believe I have plenty of work in Ops to be getting on with.”

" Me too. I will hook up with you later," Croesus smiled.

Kah'lyn nodded and headed for Ops there was a lot of work to do.
