Mission: Episode 100 - A Hatred of Atonement
Location: Star Base 400 and Kaleb 4
Timeline: MD3 - 0830HRS

On

Major McDaniel had just logged his CAG report when the first wave of returnees launched up from the planet Kaleb 4. Three craft were on vector but a fourth, the Qagh was sluggish.

" Shuttle craft Qagh you have deviated course. Are you in need of assistance?" McDaniel called out.

[Yes, thrusters on the flits...losing altit...coms breaking...]

Against his better judgement the Cag fired his grappler and attached to the aging crafts hull. Pulling the craft past the other three the Qagh moored into one of the outer docks for repairs.

Chuck then resumed course and escorted back the three other civilian vessels.

< minutes later>

Kaleb 4 again launched more civilian craft and Mc Daniel again spotted yet another lurker craft . But this one was staying just on the cusp and inside the ionosphere.

" Descending vessel are you in need of assistance?" Chuck asked.

The vessel rose up and proceeded back behind the three other craft but CAG immediately closed in when he realized it was a Krazzle vessel.

Apparently one of the armada ships had deployed one of its shuttles and it chose now to make its escape. But Major McDaniel was not about to let it go to warp.

The Krazzle shuttle slowly manuvered into prewarp position but McDaniel ignited his boosters positioning right in front of the craft. This would result in one of two ways.

Either they would back down or jump to warp.

" The show is over for you . Idle you engine and prepare to be towed." warned the Major.

The vessel stalled but then complied, not willing to play chicken today.

Radioing back to the 400, McDaniel made report back to base for orders.

" Red Wolf to 400, I have intercepted a hostile shuttle and have detained it. Please advise:

"Tow hostile vessel to within transporter range of the station and we'll beam the occupants directly to the brig." The reply came.

In Ops, the communications officer handed a PADD to Bremer that explained what had happened and what steps were being taken. "Very good. Have one of the Intelligence Officers question the pilot once he's in the brig. Send First Lieutenant Taz as well."

"SB400 to Red Wolf, well done."
