Mission: Episode 96 - A Visitor From the Past
Location: Mess Hall
Timeline: MD 1, 2000 Hours

Zeke looked around the mess hall, with ship this small, he really had no place to hold a large staff meeting for his crew. His joke of conference room, was tiny. It could barely hold 6 officers. No one for guests or equipment, if they needed to present anything. That only left the mess hall to double as a meeting place.

Zeke had booked it for the hour, there was a lot to discuss. He walked into the room. "Please have a seat, we have a lot to discuss. Sorry in advance for calling you together so late into the night." He said, as he looked for Anna, she was sitting down at a table with two cups of coffee. He looked at her. How thoughtful of her. He walked over and grabbed the cup of coffee.

After taking a small sip, and adsorbing the caffeine, let out a small smile. And breathed in the aroma coming from the cup now in his hand. "The Falcon, as you know is on course for the Gorn Hegemony. Our mission is simple, scan the border and head back to home. This mission should not take very long. Miss Miller how are my engines handling?" Zeke asked, deciding to go around the room, asking for system check.

"Performing admirably, Captain." Simply said Aubrey, with a grin on her face. She was very proud of the starship engines. The Falcon is in prestine condition for this maiden voyage.

"Mister Carrington, how is the helmsman station handling?" Zeke asked, as he looked over to Samuel, who seemed to have his eyes on Sarah. Zeke wondered if they were an item, or was it all in Samuel's head?

"Like a dream Captain." Said Samuel. He did not offer any further commentary.

"Glad to hear it." Zeke said as he looked over to Anna. "Miss Woodhouse, how is sickbay?" He asked, making sure he was being fair to all, and asking all department heads.

"Fully stocked, no injuries or causalities to report at this time." Anna said, as she took a sip from her coffee.

"Finally Miss Rodgers, anything to report?" Asked Zeke, as he looked over to his first officer on the USS Falcon. He noticed that Sarah was staring at him, while sipping on some type of beverage.

"Nothing to report, please continue Captain." Sarah said, wanting to get this staff meeting over with. They had a lot to do today. Sarah was more of a woman of action. Sitting around and waiting was tiresome and boring.

The Crew looked on as Zeke walked over to the monitor. He started to talk about navigating a patrol around the border, and what areas they wanted to scan, and send back to starfleet intelligence. "Remember the Gorn are very hostile, and may not appreciate Starfleet skirting on the klingon border, gathering intelligence on their activities, along the Klingon/Gorn Border. We must stay alert, and be prepared to defend ourselves."

"Are we expecting heavy resistance?" Dustin asked, trying to grasp the reality of situation they could possibly be in?

Sarah chimed in, "According to starfleet intelligence no. But things along the klingon and gorn borders can change in a moment. So we should operate with care, and alertness while we are on the border."

"Well Said Miss Rodgers." Zeke said with a big grin. He was proud of his first officer, for stepping up and addressing the concern. Zeke continued on. "So that end, stay sharp and now onto ship business." Said Zeke, as the scene starts to fade.
