Final Thoughts

Lee stood there at the poduim as many Star Fleet officers had gathered around as they had brought Commadore Chris Pike's remains home. Many of Lee's family was there to attend the funeral inculding Lee's parents. It was good to see them had been awhile since he had seen them.

Lee cleared his throat to speak:"For many many generations the Pike family has wondered what had happen to Chris Pike and if they would ever get the chance to see him or his body again. Soon years went by and many of the Pike family knew that they would not be alive to get to the chance to see him. We where never told how long that he lived or when he finally did pass away."

Lee took a moment.

Lee wiped a tear away as he spoke again:"Finally after many many long years the Talosians contacted Star Fleet and asked that they sent someone to come retrive the remains of Chris Pike. The reasons at the time where unknown but still Star Fleet contacted Admiral Bremer as I was a dirct decsentant of Commadore Chris Pike. I then had the privalge and the honor of heading to Talos IV and to bring back Commadore Chris Pike's remains back home to Earth where they belong. Finally the Pike family can have some peace and I want to thank each and every one of you for comming here today."

Lee gave a crisp saulte to the casket of Commadore Chris Pike before stepping away.
