Mission: Episode 90 - The Great Relink
Location: Multiple locations

The news spread like wildfire throughout the 327th Infantry Regiment, Captain Magbangan had been promoted to Major, and was now slated to take over as the new Division Executive Officer. Though the news was welcome to the officers of the Regiment, it would mean that there would be a new Regimental Commander, and like all Commanders they would bring in their own type of command
style
.
Lt. Joe Friday would be the temporary Regimental Commander of the 327th until a new replacement for Major Magbangan could be found and transferred over from Marine Headquarters.

But for now, Lt. Friday would keep the Regiment together, and make sure that the entire Regiment did not fall apart.

It was a sad day when Major Magbangan left the office for good. After General Jackson had pinned on her Major Leaves, and had given the usual five minute speech about Major Magbangan, and her accomplishments during her short stay in the Regiment; Hondo gave a short seven minute speech talking about all of her officers, and brought out that the 2nd Bn was now one of the hottest Battalions among the other ones in the Marine Corp.

With the speeches now completed, it was a time to celebrate her new promotion to the position as the Divisions Executive Officer. With the party now switching to the O’Club, all of the officers from the Division who were not on duty were now drinking, and complimenting Hondo on her new position.
Some of the officers who thought they’d like to get in her good graces, were sadly disappointed that she generally ignored them, or that she seemed to see through their thinly veiled friendships, and only wanted her to grant them a few concessions.

Not one for a lot of celebrating, Hondo finally left the O’club by herself, and went to the Marine Holodeck that at one time held a small group of Marines reliving the Marines of WWI. Now empty, Hondo punched in a special code; Soon the light on the outside panel glowed green.
Opening the door, Hondo felt at peace as the scene of combat was now unfolding in front of her; and now there were thousands of Asians now running away. Looking to the massive stone walls, and the large wooden gate, Hondo smiled, entered and closed the door.

If one were to look at the date they would have seen “Boxer Rebellion, US Marine Corp, May 1900.
