Why Me?

Jewel was stil in sickbay, she would be there for awhile. She had some of her things brought up from her quarters to keep herself entertained. She had her book she was reading, and other things to make herself as comfortable as possible. She looked around to see if she was alone. "Computer begin personal log," she stated looking at the wall.

"Well, were to begin." she started as she took a deep breathe before continuing. "Its been a very interesting few weeks here on the Station, began treatments for my cancer something went terribly wrong and the doctors couldn't save my leg. Ya I am upset but I know they tried everything they could to save it." she added taking in a deep breathe and pausing for a moment to think.

"On the bright side the cancer is gone, I still have my life so loosing a leg is the price I had to pay. I guess I could live with that." she finished with that part of her log. "Other then that, I have started to see Lieutenant Colonel David Hurd the stations Marine Commanding Officer." She said looking around the room a moment to make sure she was still alone.

"I couldn't be happier then when I am with him, he makes me feel like a person again and that I dont have any problems to worry about." she ended, she realized she was getting tired and needed her rest. "Computer end log." Jewel stated then laid down and drifted off to sleep.
