Personal log Lieutenant Junior Grade Devin Boone

It has been several days since my last log entry. Life aboard Starbase 400 is a whirlwind to say the least. But the patience and care of the crew is to be commended. They really do their best to make new officers feel welcome and even embraced into the family. Because that's the feel around here. We are a team indeed, but it's much more than that. We are a family and even unto death we would have each others backs. A testament to the crew and their leadership.

Engineering is running at peak efficiency due to the hard work and effort put forth by every team member. From the lowest crewmen to the Chief Engineer, everyone works to make our engineering department the best Starfleet has to offer. I am proud to serve as Assistant Chief Engineer and can only hope that I live up to the expectations and standards set in place on this base. I will, in my fashion, continue to strive for excellence and betterment. And I will succeed and put my best effort forth!
