General Overview Dana is a warm, welcoming young looking woman. Though as with all El Aurians she isn’t as young as she looks, she is always willing to listen to anyone who wants to talk and she’s never quick to judge.

Personal History Dana was born on her homeworld in 2147, to proud parents Jonas and Gemma Monroe. Their first child she was lavished upon in every way possible, given the best in everything her parents could provide for her.

She wasn’t an only child for long as her brother followed five years later, even at her young age she always protected him. The siblings grew up in peace, Dana attending University to follow her future plans, which would all be thrown into chaos later in her life.

Her love and protection proving for her brother proved itself in 2265 when the Borg arrived at their homeworld. Dana hid her brother and and in protecting him got herself assimilated along with all the other El Aurians that were on their home-world including her parents.

For the next 50 years Dana was part of the collective until one fateful day in 2315 when an ion storm brought down the sphere she was aboard. Discovered by a serving Starfleet family she was brought back to Starfleet Medical where her long road of recovery. It took two full years of Operations to remove her implants and learning to be a person again before she chose to apply for Starfleet Academy.
